Cycling, camping, a national trust property visit and of course a parkrun, those were the criteria when planning a little summer holiday adventure for Iona to enjoy.
I recently celebrated my birthday with a solo bikepacking adventure a self-created “Wales Divide” route.
Last parkrunday, we were on a mission! To answer the big question . . . does Thames Path parkrun in Woolwich have a “Walnut Whip” or a “Curly Wurly” on its course?
Iona’s birthday, actually falls on parkrunday this year. It’s her 11th birthday which means she’s allowed to run parkrun on her own so we’re doing a Little Adventure weekend meetup.
Iona had one burning ambition for our time in Scotland this year: to climb a Munro, Beinn Alligin, which stands at 3,024 feet above sea level.
